Turnaround Time On Projects
Smart Girls has a standard estimated turnaround time for completion of each service but
does not guarantee that time unless specifically stated in writing for your project.
We make every effort to complete jobs in a timely manner to keep our clients happy,
to be production and effective, and to honor our integrity about our time commitments.
Actor & Writer Mailings -- No Guarantees
Regarding the mailing services provided by Smart Girls, no guarantees are nor can be
made on any aspect of them. Most mailings come with a number of free packages beyond
the quantity paid for to cover, in advance, any that are deemed inappropriate or unusable
for any reason. Smart Girls researches extensively but cannot guarantee that any one
given company or individual will respond the same one day as the previous. As a
whole, the integrity of our information is maintained at the highest level possible in
this business.
Actor Mailings Time Allotment
Actor Mailings are designed to be completed in one 90-minute appointment (except for
The Big Plan). The service rates are based on the allotted time. When
additional time is required, other rates may apply.
Query Letters
Query Letters created by Smart Girls are based on the materials provided by the writer.
The letter is drafted, returned to the writer for one review, at which time
the writer should make all desired changes; if necessary, the letter will be sent one
additional time to confirm that the noted changes have been made. All changes must
be made on the copy of the letter that is sent--not retyped--to provide for time
efficiency in modifying your letter as you would like. If the letter is retyped
instead of editing on the copy of the letter as requested, a charge of #35 for retyping
will apply. If the writer makes significant changes after the first review,
additional charges will apply also.
Unsolicited Scripts
Smart Girls does not accept unsolicited scripts for production and any scripts received
without payment and request for services will be discarded upon receipt. All scripts
sent to Smart Girls must be accompanied by full payment for the service requested to get
in the cue for completion of the service.
Postage & Packaging Rates
All services and products to be sent to clients through the mail require postage and
packaging payment. Those charges are as follows:
